I'm Jennifer Althea.

I'm a Philadelphia-based content creator, cigar enthusiast, and solo traveler. This space is a reflection of how I choose to move through life.

Intentionally. Confidently. At my own pace.

My journey into cigars started with curiosity, but it quickly became something more. I found beauty in the ritual, the pause, and the way it brings people together. For me, it has never been just about the cigar. It is about presence, connection, and allowing yourself to slow down and truly enjoy the moment.

From the beginning, I have moved through this space with a sense of ease and confidence. I simply showed up as myself, and that has always been enough. Because of that, my goal is to create that same feeling for other women — a sense of comfort, confidence, and belonging, whether they are just getting started or already fully immersed.

My voice has extended beyond social media through conversations with platforms like Cigar Talk Toronto, Taste the Dram, and the NICE CIGARZ Podcast. I was also featured in The Cigar Society's February edition, Fellowship of the Leaf. Each opportunity has allowed me to share my perspective on cigar culture, from pairing and etiquette to the importance of community.

Outside of cigars, I am deeply connected to solo travel. It is one of the ways I continue to grow, reset, and reconnect with myself.

What started as a personal decision to stop waiting has turned into one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Through my travels, I have learned to trust myself, embrace new experiences, and find confidence in doing things on my own.

Through my platform, This Woman Travels, I share stories, travel experiences, and lessons learned along the way. My goal is to encourage other women to explore freely, trust themselves, and realize that being alone and being lonely are not the same thing.

I believe some of life's best experiences happen when we stop waiting for permission and start saying yes to ourselves.

I am also a mother of two daughters, and that part of my life has shaped me in ways that show up in everything I do. There is strength in my story, but there is also softness. Balance matters to me.

This space is not just about where I go or what I smoke.

It's about how I live.

With intention.

With presence.

And with a quiet kind of confidence that speaks for itself.
